Pipes, connectors and seals must be intact and free of deposits in order to fulfill their function. This applies everywhere, but especially in the food sector, because only then can hygiene standards be met and compliance with the recipe guaranteed. Modern borescopes and video inspection cameras enable thorough, fast and, above all, simple inspection of hollow bodies. The Wohler borescope can be used for this purpose at temperatures up to 120° F. Different probes are available for the borescope, some of which can be swiveled, so that each part can be clearly seen. The inspection takes only a few minutes in total. Images of abnormalities in the system are saved as a .jpg-File, so that any damage or contamination is perfectly documented and can thus be specifically remedied.

In a brewery, for example, this method can be used to clarify the cause in the event of a malfunction or, even better, for preventive maintenance.  With his Wohler VE 400 boroscope, the brewmaster checks whether seals are porous or hoses are leaking. If the cross-section of the lines is reduced by deposits, the flow is impeded. This, too, can be detected without a doubt with the camera.
